At 18 she postponed her university to be an assistant director for a major film production currently shooting in Old Dhaka. She is the youngest female on set. She was originally cast in a small role in the film, but gained the attention of the director. She has no problem voicing her opinion in a room of men twice her age. Her decision to postpone her education has created a rift between her family and created distance from her friends. She lives as a single woman in the house that is also the film set - a move that is nearly unheard of for young women in Bangladesh. Her story is about independence as a young women in Bangladesh.
